Lots and lots of boat models. Comprehensive collection. No English signage.
An interesting museum, especially (obviously) of you're interested in ships and/or the nautic world. The museum is concentrated on traditional Frysian ships. It's also much bigger then I expected it to be. The service is splendid. They warmed my formula for my baby. And the first cup of tea/coffee is free of charge in the small restaurant. They don't sell lunch, but the museum is located right in the centre of Sneek. The museum is wheelchair / pram accessible. There's also a wonderful, spacious section for children. They will have a blast trying things out and learning at the same time. I will return here when my kid is old enough.
Excellent museum, well worth a visit.
John VerhoekFun and informative museum in the city centre of Sneek. The museum is housed in some older buildings. Nevertheless, the museum is easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. The museum displays many ship models and other business, which with Sneek and Friesland. There are also a number of period rooms furnished from the past.
Jos de BoerWe came for the Dogs, but that exhibition. But the rest was really enjoying.
