  • The bunker is still pretty intact so you can look inside. In addition, it is immediately a vantage point on the island. About 15 min cycling from the city center.

  • Special historic spot. Built by the Germans, as part of the Atlantic wall. Lanzamerhand is one with nature. The view from the bunker is phenomenal.

  • Special place, a bunker where the Nazis wanted to draw up a radar, which has never worked. Also nice views over the island.

  • From this bunker, you have a great overview of the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog. This remnant from World War II was a part of the German coastal defense

  • A memory of the second world war on Schiermonnikoog, worth to visit, but is very polluted. People consider the bunker apparently as immense waste bin.
