  • I can imagine that beginning of April there is not a lot to do in Scheveningen. Hower the Pier gave a very poor and old fashioned, outdated impression (esp the food boulevard). The Pier (in open air) ...  more »
  • This pier is up for renewal, it is quite messy and not very attractive. Several shops were rigid

  • New setup is very nice. Lots of cafés and restaurants. Fairly trendy. Love the arcades and pinball machines that are setup here. However, some of the renovations that are being done/have been done seem cheap and rushed. More work needs to be done to restore it to something really amazing.
  • Definitely a great tourist attractions, great place to go to the beach and watch the sea. The stores inside are very hipster and very enjoyable if you like that type of thing. You can basically eat everywhere so no worry where you can eat. Make sure to drink enough water because the sea will make you thirsty without you realizing.
  • Something for everyone at the pier, great selection of food in the main pier, good outdoor selection as well. The Ferris wheel is worth the small admission fee for a great view of both the sea and the surrounding area. And if you're feeling daring you can try the bungee jump or sit back at the club and relax. Just a great low stress way to spend an afternoon.
  • Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. Lots of nice restaurants and stores. Very nice place for tourists or just to have a nice walk and watch people and stores but also to do stuff. Nice casino, nice gaminghall for kids, nice shopping mall.
  • Go hear at the weekend when the pop-up food stalls are open. Good "street" food and a varied selection. Prices are pretty good and De Pier also have a Ferris wheel over the sea.
