  • A lunch here last week, excellent food, lunch menu Also dessert was fine. 2 x fish taken. Pace was fine not too long. Nice location, parking was difficult. Control good, ergo fine recommended

  • This museum is relatively small but they managed to pack in a great collection. The selection is really good, big enough to enjoy and explore but small enough not to get bored.
  • Truly beautiful 3rd floor (Tibet and Japan), interesting 2nd and 1st floors as well. The museum is quiet, well organized and offers images and music rather than lengthy explanations. Recommended.

  • Interesting exhibits with nice audio tour. Impressive display of religious objects, shrines in a beautiful environment. Strongly recommend.
  • One of my favorite museums in Rotterdam, they also have an excellent (but expensive) restaurant located in the same building, which I can recommend for dinner. I believe the collection is more general historical objects from different cultures across the different continents (in short: if you like to travel, you'll like it).
  • Beautiful building and location. Was very quiet though on a recent Wednesday evening when we visited. The 4-course menu was good, without being great, which was a bit disappointing for a Michelin 1-star establishment. Ceviche of mackerel lacked the strong marinade that one typically expects with ceviche, the beetroot sauce being also quite bland. Lobster and the lamb main course were very good. Dessert with strawberries, müsli and yoghurt ice-cream was a nice play on a breakfast theme, but didn't taste that special or surprising in any way. Service was perfect, a bit on the formal side.
  • Always has nice exhibitions. The man exhibition is also worth visiting
  • Best meal I have had in Rotterdam. Great food, excellent friendly and professional service, wonderful wine in a fantastic setting. Plenty of room between tables, and a great location overlooking the river. It is expensive, but well worth it for a treat. Looking forward to going back.
