  • Had such a museum like the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam expected. That this was not. Collection fell. Awkward entrance with scanning devices that are not worked.

  • This museum at the willemskade in Rotterdam was a revelation. It has a great collection of sculptures and other objects from alien cultures. Especially the Buddha images we found quite impressive. My partner uses rollator and the present staff ensured that all places in the museum. One stand, as it were, for example, through a small elevator to wait until they had to further. This is a cave compliment. Top class museum with top employees.

  • Interesting exhibits with nice audio tour. Impressive display of religious objects, shrines in a beautiful environment. Strongly recommend.
  • One of my favorite museums in Rotterdam, they also have an excellent (but expensive) restaurant located in the same building, which I can recommend for dinner. I believe the collection is more general historical objects from different cultures across the different continents (in short: if you like to travel, you'll like it).
  • Beautiful building and location. Was very quiet though on a recent Wednesday evening when we visited. The 4-course menu was good, without being great, which was a bit disappointing for a Michelin 1-star establishment. Ceviche of mackerel lacked the strong marinade that one typically expects with ceviche, the beetroot sauce being also quite bland. Lobster and the lamb main course were very good. Dessert with strawberries, müsli and yoghurt ice-cream was a nice play on a breakfast theme, but didn't taste that special or surprising in any way. Service was perfect, a bit on the formal side.
  • Always has nice exhibitions. The man exhibition is also worth visiting
  • Best meal I have had in Rotterdam. Great food, excellent friendly and professional service, wonderful wine in a fantastic setting. Plenty of room between tables, and a great location overlooking the river. It is expensive, but well worth it for a treat. Looking forward to going back.
