  • Once in a while we go once again to the world museum. This time for a specific exhibition that frankly what against fell. But the private collection of the museum is really great. The period rooms with Tibetan Antiquities remain a joy to watch.

  • Who are interested in the culture of the far East and/or Buddhism can enjoy. Beautiful exhibitions with very neat information booklets in the various parts of the exhibition. Staff and security guards. Be careful with too close to business exhibited. The alarm goes off quickly.

  • A nice museum where you can see a lot of special things about other cultures. The permanent exhibition is definitely worth it. The changing exhibition I found this time not very special.

  • Interesting exhibits with nice audio tour. Impressive display of religious objects, shrines in a beautiful environment. Strongly recommend.
  • One of my favorite museums in Rotterdam, they also have an excellent (but expensive) restaurant located in the same building, which I can recommend for dinner. I believe the collection is more general historical objects from different cultures across the different continents (in short: if you like to travel, you'll like it).
  • Beautiful building and location. Was very quiet though on a recent Wednesday evening when we visited. The 4-course menu was good, without being great, which was a bit disappointing for a Michelin 1-star establishment. Ceviche of mackerel lacked the strong marinade that one typically expects with ceviche, the beetroot sauce being also quite bland. Lobster and the lamb main course were very good. Dessert with strawberries, müsli and yoghurt ice-cream was a nice play on a breakfast theme, but didn't taste that special or surprising in any way. Service was perfect, a bit on the formal side.

  • Best meal I have had in Rotterdam. Great food, excellent friendly and professional service, wonderful wine in a fantastic setting. Plenty of room between tables, and a great location overlooking the river. It is expensive, but well worth it for a treat. Looking forward to going back.
