  • The Icebergs are so funny. They love to play together. It's every time nice to watch than play. This time the fox was lying in the sun as well as the tigers. There is so much to see. It's a day full o...  read more »
  • Again enjoyed the variety of animals, all of which have private living space. My retarded little brother watched his eyes out. My grandchild enjoyed next to her favorite animals of the many playgrounds. So it was a successful day for everyone.

  • On a very busy Sunday we visited Blijdorp. Beautiful zoo with lots of facilities for children and catering. In particular, the Savannah and crocodiles are very beautiful.

  • I love to go there with my kids. Always a nice experience. I specially like the tropical area
  • Excellent Zoo! It's very well laid out and allows the visitor to get very close to the animals/reptiles. The Oceanarium and Amazonian areas were very good. Being within a couple of metres from the Giraffes is unforgettable. Highly recommended for adults and children! Parking cost is €8.50 (2016) and the main car park (next to the Van der Valk hotel) is situated by the souvenir shop/Oceanarium part of the zoo.
  • It's a huge zoo, with many kind of animals. You can see African environment (lions, gorillas...), Asian (elephants...) or north Pole (penguins...), among others. There is a big aquarium. It's cleaned. There are many people with their children. The ticket is a little bit expensive (22€), if you buy it through online you save 3€. The parking costs 8€ per day.
  • Spacious and generous layout, diverse and nicely arranged animal displays. Filthy with trash laying around. Steep entry price.
  • Really nice Zoo, large and well designed. There is something for everyone and it is big enough to spend an entire day.
