  • If you like art, a visit to this Museum must not escape you. From the 15th to the 20th century, the overview is impressive. Of the great Dutch masters to the surrealists, the illustrious names are juxtaposed to the delight of visitors. On the other hand contemporary art also has its place with a temporary exhibition dedicated to children. Great time to spend alone, as a couple or as a family.

  • very beautiful exhibition of this artist. spacious overview of his drawings and studies completed with some of his masterpieces. the museum offers a diverse collection. question though a city map, as it is a bit cluttered. parking is available in front of the door, but I had a parking meter not to read. parkmobile is a must

  • After years once again been back here and totally worth it. Fun exhibitions and beautiful collections from the previous centuries to date. And then also happen to be in the "Plaster weekend" in honor of the birthday of William Henry, Plaster on 7-12-1890, designer of, among others, a lot of furniture. We will definitely be back!

  • What I call a non-specific museum. It started as the private collection of a rich shipping tycoon, so there is not a lot focus. But still very well worth a visit.
  • This is one of the first contemporary art museums that I thoroughly enjoyed. Particularly the interactive exhibition by Olafur Eliasson mesmerised me. Well worth the money.
  • The curation is the best among all the museums I've been to. It carries a strong personal flavor and you can feel the genuine passion for the art works by the writer. This might be unwelcome among the more experienced art viewers, but for people without a very deep knowledge of art history the curation is invaluable in getting to know what's on display in a much more enjoyable fashion.
  • My favourite museum in Rotterdam. A really amazing collection of Dutch and international art. A good balance of Contemporary and more classical art. Great permanent collections and constantly new exhibitions. Can go back many many times.
  • This is a quite big museum, with lots of paintings (some of them really famous), and also some modern art. If you're into those things then you should definitely go.
