  • Very good collection. I like also the design collection. The collection is not something most famous, but it shows the development of certain design, e.g. table lamp. Even the design of the wardrobe is so thoughtful. It's also a piece of art.
  • The museum is definitely worth a visit if you like art and are in town. But I am giving three stars because I think some other reviews are a bit misleading: this museum is not exactly overwhelming in quantity or in relative quality compared to other major museums in Amsterdam, Antwerp or Kroller-Muller, especially for the price of 15 euros!! I particularly like Gothic-Renaissance so enjoyed seeing the one by Van Eyck, the Hell/Flood by Bosch etc. But disappointingly the famous ones "Saint Christopher", "Peddler" by Bosch, "Babel tower" by Bruegel were all missing when I visited. (added: later I learned that these three are on a tour exhibit in Japan this year. )
  • Nice museum. Lights are not always well put. They shine in your eyes and blind you.
  • Very neat museum. Cool outside: "eat breathe die" in rainbow letters. Beautiful art, surrealism, perfect for this modernist building. Nice walk from the cubehouses. 11 euro for students, even for students outside EU.
  • One of the best collections I have seen. Specially the furniture and objects from modernism era.
