  • Went expecting one thing got another, present North sea activity, plants, structures, equipment, history. Art of the sea, pictures, drawings, etchings, paintings, boats, house boats, etc.  more »
  • Been several times in this museum. With the ticket it is possible outside of some ships to visit. Too bad an old training ship of the Navy.

  • Small museum but what it lacks in size is made up for content-wise. Extensive collection of fossils, mammals, reptiles, you name it: all of it extremely well put together and above your standard. Engaging and easy to follow information is provided even without an audio guide. Surprising exhibits all around. (Speaking of exhibits, do yourself a favor and don't linger too long staring at the worms... they are very real, very large, and make one realize what horrors Mother Nature is capable of)
  • Small museum with a well presented and interesting collection of preserved animals. Conveniently located if you are also visiting the Kunsthal.
  • Ok. Nice collection of special animals to start with. Good displays but some more info could help - or a good catalogue.
  • Impressive museum with interesting exhibits. It's not very big however.
  • As with most natural history museums, there's a lot to see and learn. It's very small though.
