  • On 25 February the exhibition about Hyper realism (or photo realism) visited. Because this is also the opening of the exhibition was we had the opportunity to take part in the "artist tour" by one of the exhibiting artists. We opted for Ben Johnson, a British artist who paints detailed photographic cities/buildings. Very informative! And punctuated with the necessary British humor, really very special. A modest man who makes beautiful paintings! The whole exhibition is a must. The paintings give the impression that you're dealing with a photo, if you close it you see that it really is a painting. The paintings by Julie Sparnaay are really great, the hamburger varicose of the canvas, as well as the fried egg with air bubbles. We combined this exhibition with a visit to Boymans van Beuningen/surrealism, a 5-minute walk from the art Hall. Is snappy on one day, but still done because of the travel distance. Beautiful day!

  • Interesting museum with a nice diversity of exhibitions. It's worth visiting frequently. Not too expensive either. It's also fun to combine a visit to the Kunsthal with a visit to the other museums in the area (there are quite a few of them) if you're feeling artsy.
  • Too pretentious. But i liked the Botero exhibition
  • Interesting museum with diverse selection of exhibitions, you can spend half a day wandering away into modern art here.
  • Not that this building need anymore praise, but I'm gonna give one anyway, COOL MUSEUM with cool (temporary) exhibitions.
  • Beautiful building, interesting art. Keith Haring was worthwhile to see. Other exhibitions were also fascinating.
