  • Walking from the Centre about the Erasmus bridge. At the end at the Luxor theater you go right towards Kop van Zuid/wilhelminapier. The history of the former America-goers lures here (see also the artwork at the Kop van Zuid-case stalling-there). Modern architecture, a photo museum and a good hotel (Hotel New York; also for drink or tasty bite) on a beautiful location (beautiful view). The water taxis are ready to your back or to another destination (such as the Euromast opposite).

  • The of the Sido canal boats, on the other side of the Erasmus bridge so, the Kop van Zuid. Meet old and new rotterdam each other here. You can see the old Office of the Holland America line, now in use as a Hotel New York features a delightful and cosy terrace, but also the State-of-the-art office buildings and the new Luxor theatre on the same Kop van Zuid. You can go over the Erasmus bridge (the Swan), but also with the water taxi. Definitely a must.
