  • Place: crowded, loud and fun atmosphere Products: a wide range of beers (20+) with a notable (and wonderful) exclusion of typical supermarket lagers. Service: superb - bartenders were really eager to ...  more »
  • Walking along the cruise terminal and Hotel New York is your eye quickly on the lively Katendrecht. Through bike/pedestrian bridge you walk way over the Harbour to the Fenix food factory. In in an old shed come atmosphere and scent your way. In the busy corner of the factory, you can see the Cape brewers. At least 30 beers on tap. Beers that you hardly can get somewhere else. What stands out is that at least 50% of the available beers an IPA beer. Also the dark stout beers are well represented. A stray weizen beer, saison and 1 single tripel is also on the map ... Am not a fan of IPA and stout so a first and actually only disappointment is a fact. Each beer is in the same Cape glass tapped, so here is no difference. The price of a beer varies so between 3 and 5 euro. Which is great, is the combination with food from the factory. In the pilot are several positions where drinks and food. A cheese and/or sausage shelf is definitely recommended and very successful.

  • This is the most fun to do within the Fenix Foodfactory. Especially the special beers shop is my favorite.

  • Great place for beer lovers. I really recommend the "proef-plank" with the 6 beers. Only downside is that the place is really crowded and noisy and there are not always enough chairs to sit inside after you have ordered.
  • Kaapse Brouwers' place is at the Foenix Food factory, an old industrial building that is now filled with stands that sell all kind of very nice foods. In a separate room you can order twenty beers from the tap, from different breweries (off course a lot of them from Kaapse, but also from other breweries). Grab some bites from one of the stands, take it to Kaapse and enjoy! Nice atmosphere, a bit dark though. Very "hipster friendly" decor ;-) Sometimes live music as well!
  • Great selection of local and international craft beers. Awesome staff! And cool setting
  • Located inside the Fenix Food Factory, this brewery is the youngest city brewery in Rotterdam (at the time of writing). They have loads of beers available to try and if you can't make your mind up, you can go for the six beer tasting board.
  • Great craft beer on tap, Kaapse's mainly but also from other brewers, in a cozy bar inside a hip market. They also have a small beer store on bottle
