Erasmus Bridge, Rotterdam

4.2
With a shape often compared to a swan or a harp, Erasmus Bridge reflects the industrial yet creative character of the city. It stands 139 m (456 ft) tall and 802 m (2,631 ft) long above the Nieuwe Maas River, and connects the north and south sides of the city. Featured in Hollywood movies and seen in the Tour de France, the asymmetrical bridge is an icon of Rotterdam. You can cross by car or bus, or on foot or by bicycle. Stop along the way to observe the panorama of this flat city, dotted with some bulky industrial buildings. • The water taxi was great. You see from the water so many beautiful buildings. It is also a fun means of transport. To do this, definitely like to come back. Photos are by 2014

  • Easy in. Pretty exspensive but so easy and close to the river.
  • Good car park. And if you are on vacation you are willing to pay a bit more to park in the city, aren't you. No really, prices are ok.
  • Decent, modern parking garage directly under the Erasmus bridge. Central location.
  • Relatively cheap 20 € per day it's 30 € anywhere else
  • Great location, not too expensive. In walking distance of the city center.
