  • We were almost 5 hrs in this Museum and have seen by far not everything. Through the exhibition, one moves through several people's lives and their stories. It's all very interesting structure. It is narrated by the Dutch resistance and the Dutch who had to work for the occupation forces. Also the vehicle is highly recommended is an amphibious vehicle from the Korean war at the Museum, part of a huge exhibition! A museum employee was of course ready to pleased to answer questions. A very great Museum Tip: time in the military look shop outside the Museum over and browse, and converse with the owner.

  • Apart from the thematic approach of the exhibition is the exposition of all stock of the collection Jaap de Groot very impressive. If you interested in keep them rolling bet then you should really go!

  • My husband was there for more than thirty years ago for last. Then a small museum. We were impressed by the size of the museum. The information that is provided is very clear and is written in plain language. The design is also fine and we found the interactive information also very nice.

  • Great experience to live through and see where WWII happened. Lots of tanks, planes and other vehicles as well as weapons and equipment are on display on there. The fact that the museum is placed in the forrest where the battle happened makes the experience even more alive. Lots of books and other information is also available to visit here, as well as a small church to honor the fallen. The fact that you don't get a discount as a student from a country other than the Netherlands is a little disappointing.
  • Great museum. Very big collection of working war tanks cars and other heavy equipment.
  • Large collection of WW2 materials. The information signs could use a serious update. If you are not 'into war equipment' you will often be left wondering what certain materials were for or what their history is.
  • A very nice museum. Lots of W.W.II vehicles and uniforms. A history of the German occupation. Also a few items of the cold war. Well worth the visit.
  • It is one of the best World War II museums in the Netherlands.
