  • Yesterday we with a few classes visited the flood museum. We got an educational tour that is very nice. It was too bad we got the tour with his all at the same time (55 people) and you so not everything could see properly/follow. Also we got but 10 Guide for 50 kids. For the rest of the afternoon was super fun and educational at the end with cool games that the kids could play and experience. A must to go and the kids to bring a piece of history!

  • At the site where the worst flood disaster was, lies the flood museum. In this museum that is located in the caissons (construction works to stop the water), is all about the day. In addition, the museum in on the aftermath of the disaster and which tools/machines there are in order to stop the water. If you want to have an impression of the disaster, then you are about 1.5 to 2 hours in the museum. If you are really interested in the theme, then it will visit 3 hours to complete.

  • Very fun and interesting museum. Treasure trail for the kidz and also regularly what interactive parts. The location and that the museum in 4 caissons makes it extra fun.

  • Museum's split into 4 thematically structured sections, the 1st is by far the most impressive and complete, the second and third are somewhat short and less interesting in comparison. Unfortunately the 4th section was closed for renovations, which was a pretty big let down. Very informative and interesting museum about the floodings in general. Most (Dutch) texts have an English translation next to it and video has English subtitles.
  • Excellent depiction of the events related to the flood.
  • Very worthwhile.
  • Have seen the people in danger need have been. But great how they have to stop the water with the very danger blocks in the water. You should have been there, then you can see how bad it is.

  • Nice museum built in 4 caissons. Heartbreaking pronouncement of stillbirth poems. Impressive hall where all the names of the victims seem to ripple the waves. Last piece interactive. Educational for children. Audio guide is free but adds nothing. Zeelandpas gives a 20% discount on entry price here
