  • If you are in Oudewater, it is nice to visit this museum. Free with MJK (otherwise € 6). Here is the history about witches and the roads through a video explained. You can also let you weigh in on the original scale from 1482. Known for a fair weighing process. You'll get also Certificaet of Weginghe of the w! It's nice to drop in to look even though you have seen it with half an hour

  • Small but interesting museum. I really enjoyed the volunteer that was working there and his explanation.
  • A teeny-tiny museum with the original witches' weighing scale. The museum portion upstairs gives a good overview of the history in multiple languages. Being weighed and receiving a certificate that confirms you are not a witch (assuming that is the case!) is included in the price. Opening days and times vary throughout the year so do check the website before visiting.
  • Lovely town to walk around.
  • Welcoming staff and informative little museum in nice location.
  • Nice to be on a historical site to be different you only know from school.
