  • Great to get a feel for Operation market garden at the place where it actually happened. Resistance stories and the outlines are great and informative. The 'war experience' did not add much for our own experience, but might be great to visit with kids.
  • Worthwhile museum to visit to see the history of this area from the second world war. The building is deceptively small, but there's plenty to see. It's split over several floors, but there is a lift. The floors are split into sections, eg the resistance network, and there are lots of back stories included amongst the facts. There are a number of short films to help cover more information.
  • Very nice place. The museum has brought to life from basically nothing a story. They made from their stories a bigger one and implied that those had major impact over the WW 2. Nonetheless, it is really nice and the athmosphere can translate you a little bit to those days. They used a lot of scenery setup and mini movies (the latter are in English and translated to Dutch) to better understand the story.
  • Great little museum. Well worth a visit. Apparently you can get a discounted ticket if you visit the one in Arnhem first (which is free).
  • Incredible place and a must visit even if you are not in the neighborhood. The experience of being in the place where so much history took place is at times overwhelming. I recommend watching band of brothers or bridge too far before visiting, especially if you’re not very familiar with the war history on the region.
