  • The waal Bridge gives access to various parts of the land of Maas and Waal. Nice to have you bike on the waal bridge to park and an afternoon at the w beach. Or take a walk in the beautiful Lent.

  • The waalbrug is clearly visible from different places in the city. The design of the bridge is not very special.

  • To Nijmegen to drive away via the Waal bridge is always an enjoyable experience. The bridge is also on foot or can be reached by bike. From the bridge you have a view on the Waalkade, the valkhofpark and Lent

  • Wow I am just so amazed I am blown away by this bridge never in my life have I been so in love wit h a bridge 10/10 would bridge again
  • The characteristic bridge for Nijmegen. One of the symbols of the city. From the bridge beautiful view over the city and the mirror Waal.
  • Great bridge and really is the local pride. Unfortunately up close, you can see it's worn and needs a complete overhaul/restoration that is due for a number of years now. I really hope they bring it back to it's old glory someday soon, then it would definitely be 5*.
  • Best waalbrug. Does great service but broke once in 1942 and it due to service.
  • Beautiful to walk across and around, especially with the new part of the waal being built for leisure.
