Why in foreign cities and not in own city the Church visits, we thought. Sunday afternoon with guide turned out surprisingly interesting and captivating. Never knew that Saints are depicted with the object they were killed. The cat never before seen on previous visits. You? And then to see that struggle between Catholics and Protestants to ... and that centuries of history, and refurbishments ... I go one more time I think. Contribution of your choice in ' block ' sacrifice. Our Guide Ad? was top

Like many churches breathes this Church also the history of the city. Although the Church had a lot ago during the 2nd World War, here is nothing more of the brands. In short, it is worth a visit for those who keep of church buildings.

With the building of the Church was about the middle of the 13th century started. In 1273, the Church was dedicated by Albertus Magnus (Albert the great) the Bishop of Cologne, of whom a relic is present in the burial chapel. I work in the Centre of Nijmegen and go there twice a week drinking coffee with the men who maintain the Church and some sort of Kalis are that you once had. There are now many concerts given in, and church services. The best thing is to see that there are still tombs are where the great people of State of formerly from Nijmegen are buried. . The Church also ran large damage on in the period that Nijmegen front city. After the second world war, the Church was thoroughly restored and reopened in the presence of Z.K.H. in 1969 festive Prince Claus. The inventory of the Church to know pulpit, Tomb monument to Catherine of Bourbon, baptistery-screen, men's sofas, candles and some frescoes-crowns, organs are from the 16th, 17th and 18th century. There still get every day on the great organ, played by great musicians from Nijmegen and even from abroad. A visit to this church is definitely a must.

Very memorable location. For four euro you can walk up the tower and view the city from above. You can see all sorts of interesting objects inside including bells and even a piece from a ww2 shrapnel. If you are lucky you can hear the bells right above you play.

Interior inside not so interesting but the outside area is beautiful and historical very interesting.

A beautiful church, especially the gorgeously lit main tower at night and the creative bell tunes, that are played throughout the day.

Beautiful church but a part of the church was destroyed in 1944 during Operation Market Garden of the allies.

Just beautiful and adds a lot to many views in the city. Walk around it and towards the river Waal also.
