  • The Museum is beautifully located, the architecture is also very nice. Different collections are housed here. Before all the Roman collection is very interesting!

  • The exhibition is of remarkable quality with pieces from Pompei and the Colosseum. You get a good idea of the origin of Gladiator, the different types and their daily lives. Also the link with the Roman past of Nijmegen is fun.

  • Very nicely set up museum, well set up, spacious and very light. Exhibition of Gladiators was nicely laid out and gave a good insight, too bad it failed to what statistics: how many Gladiators are ever been there, how many are there died, where did they come from, who fought whom and who won than usually? Some questions that remain unanswered but without more of a beautiful exhibition. 2 points of feedback:-museum cafe: not really fis when the rolls in open and exposed for anyone to touch for that they are sold .... excellent glass partition wall (read hygienic.-parking: pity that the museum has no reduced rate agreed with the parking garage.

  • I saw the Roman interactive exhibition, really cool. They made the dull subject quite exciting.
  • Nice balance of history and modern art and culture. Lovely staff!
  • The Valkhof is a small, but well designed and curated Museum, with exhibitions ranging from the Roman times to the modern period. Some special exhibitions are also on display, with some surprising local artists.
  • Amazing exhibition about The Gladiators... A must visit museum!
  • Nice museum with an extensive exhibition about the origin and history of the roman city of Nijmegen. Beautiful interesting space in itself. Cafeteria downstairs.
