  • Today we went to Nijmegen gone for a visit to Museum Falcons horst. There is the normal decor of the carrying of an extra exhibition, Gladiators. We have the museum's annual pass, but for the Gladius is 5.00 € asked. I have to say worth it. Good explanation with a portofoontje where you for a glass case explanation. All children were at many shows tickets. At the end of the exhibition, children could a helmet of sturdy paper. Completely with glue and pinpennen and very good explanation. The permanent exhibition was also worth with many finds from Roman times. In the shop I have 2 helmets bought for the grandsons. Very well worth the effort.

  • In the summer to the real Colosseum. Now wanted the children to this exhibition, which is set up and also pretty amazing really for kids is fun. They can fight as a gladiator, dress up as Roman or a Roman helmet. Very nice!

  • I saw the Roman interactive exhibition, really cool. They made the dull subject quite exciting.
  • Nice balance of history and modern art and culture. Lovely staff!
  • The Valkhof is a small, but well designed and curated Museum, with exhibitions ranging from the Roman times to the modern period. Some special exhibitions are also on display, with some surprising local artists.
  • Amazing exhibition about The Gladiators... A must visit museum!
  • Nice museum with an extensive exhibition about the origin and history of the roman city of Nijmegen. Beautiful interesting space in itself. Cafeteria downstairs.
