  • Americans gave their lives to defeat the Nazis and the Dutch have never forgotten. A beautiful and peaceful memorial to the fallen, and an inspiration that local families are grateful for the honor of caring for a gravesite. As an American, I am thankful for sacrifice of our soldiers and the dedication of the Dutch people to their memory. We all should be...
  • My uncle and his comrades, shot down by the Nazi's, are all buried here. I was the first of his family to visit his grave in March 2016. There is so much respect imparted by the Dutch citizens upon our servicemen who gave their lives that it leaves a permanent impression upon you. Every grave is adopted by a Dutch native, is cared for, cleaned, prayed over (if that is their inclination) and represented on Memorial Day each year. Even if one doesn't have a relative there, the facilities are so beautiful and moving that any American passing through should spend a couple of hours there to pay homage to our fallen servicemen.
  • An absolutely stunning memorial! Reminds us not to fall for fascism again. Stop Trump!
  • Impressive historic place....
