  • Church was more impressive from the outside. It was worth the 2.50 euros room climb the 218 steps to the top of the tower. Very nice view.  more »

  • Story goes that it is painted with bull blood, that's why it's so red. Looks amazing from the outside, but couldn't go in as it was closed for a private event.  more »

  • Historical, beautiful, particular as other monumental places in Maastricht! Just have a lazy walk in the centre! You will not regret!
  • Beautiful square and on top of the church you have a great view over te city. It's worth the climb.
  • the redness of the church tower makes this building a on of a kind. if i'm not wrong history of this place goes back to 1000 AC.
  • Great historical church. The color is amazing. Worth a visit, and do go up the tower
  • Get them legs working and climb the tower for the best view of Maastricht.
