  • What will immediately notice how clean everything is. And the silence, even though there are of course many people around. The labyrinth is special.

  • Walking around the Basilica preserved some of the support arches to see, and below it. So you can also see the Romanesque architecture better, because inside the Church that when clogged. The Basilica itself is not that special, but the treasure room, with separate entrance, is well worth a visit. Considering there is already a church built not too long after St Servaas had died, there are church treasures of the 9th century and later. And it is beautiful. Also the Shire, the relic holder for St Servaas is on display. There is also a room with remains of clothes and other substances, which given the transience of these, are rare. In the Basilica itself can be found in the crypt the tomb of St Servaas (very simple), as well as the sarcophagus of Charles the simple, which Brussels would have founded (died 1001). A part of the Romanesque west Portal is drawn up in the Church.

  • From the train station, after the big square, it's San Sefasse chapel (the entrance is on the big square back). is generally the ultimate point of the common view of the horse. The church itself is very great, and there is also the Museum of the Holy Things that has been shown, and it has to be paid for. The holy things are brilliant, but people's faith is the most cohesive

  • Such a lovely place. I love hownthe city looks so like the medieval times in this winter season. I'll be back for spring and summer to see the difference of how it looks 😊 its a long trip for me(from utrecht) but arriving at a very beautiful city is all worth it! 😍
  • It was closed when we went, but the building is beautiful to admire from the outside. Never seen a cathedral made from this type of bricks
  • A really great basilica with fantastic features and architecture. You can get a student disscount if you are going inside or you can admire the towers and fassade from the outside as well. Make sure to ask the tour guide why is the coloured in red.
  • Hidden Monastary right in the center of maastricht very nice. You need to pay to get in that is not so nice
  • Impressive Basilica with a treasury worth visiting.
