  • Of course the Monument Peter's Church certainly well worth a visit, but before or after it, it is also very cosy tea or something else to drink/eat in the pieterskerk young Décor very cosy Café, anywhere books and old ornaments and serve the ladies who are really very nice. Here I'm going to come more often before or after a visit to one of the museums or historical sites of Leiden.

  • Stopped by with a large group to visit the burial site of Jacobus Arminus. The staff had no clue about him but we did locate the memorial ourself after a few minutes. The local Calvinists still don't seem to have much regard for him! They eyed us up suspiciously after we took so much interest in this "heretic".
  • Most of the time it is closed. Actually, I don't know when it's open. Nonetheless, it's a nice looking church if you are passing through.
  • The Sint-Pieterskerk in Leiden is constructed in 1390-1570, its a Protestant church since the 1570s during the Reformation and the Uprising against the Spanish.
  • A beautiful building in Leiden. Not worth going inside though, not much to see for the price.
  • Good idea on the preservation and promotion of local history.
