  • This street is full of book shops, vintage store as I remember. There's a church in this street. It is a lovely place to have a short walk.
  • Located on a small square in the Centre of Leiden is perhaps the historically most important Church of the city. The size and condition of the building are certainly very impressive.

  • Reception through the cafe, with a friendly young man and an elderly lady, who likes all. ... the Church I found not so special, only the organs were impressive. Entrance pay money for the Church? ACC. to me was that it's not worth it. Better entrance fee questions and after a cup of coffee in the café.

  • Stopped by with a large group to visit the burial site of Jacobus Arminus. The staff had no clue about him but we did locate the memorial ourself after a few minutes. The local Calvinists still don't seem to have much regard for him! They eyed us up suspiciously after we took so much interest in this "heretic".
  • Most of the time it is closed. Actually, I don't know when it's open. Nonetheless, it's a nice looking church if you are passing through.
  • The Sint-Pieterskerk in Leiden is constructed in 1390-1570, its a Protestant church since the 1570s during the Reformation and the Uprising against the Spanish.
  • A beautiful building in Leiden. Not worth going inside though, not much to see for the price.
  • Good idea on the preservation and promotion of local history.
