  • Really lovely the mill and the surrounding park, along the Canal, with the Gush of water in the Middle, an enchanted landscape. We were lucky to the beautiful sunny day indeed! But still it is a must visit this place.

  • This was the view from my hotel room. I couldn't wait to visit. It is a beautiful mill and it is closed to the public.  more »
  • In Leiden, we looked down the road from the Hague to Amsterdam. And immediately understood: here it is, a real Holland! The city simply charmed. Numerous canals, bridges, graceful architecture and that was after Amsterdam surprisingly.))) On the streets and in the cafes the youth met. It is understandable: Leiden-University City. However, tourists here too enough. You can just walk around the city, and you can see them during water walking. Ideally it is better to combine both. We leave Leiden late afternoon. In the city of lights was even more romantic ...))) Access to Leiden can be (and, I think, need!) by train from Amsterdam Central station. Station to the Centre of Leiden is a 8-10 minutes walk. Here everything is nearby, which is also a huge plus!

  • We were free to enter the mill, once we got inside/upstairs a (friendly) lady told us alot about the history and working of the mill. We liked it alot.
  • Very nice mill in the center of the city!
  • Beau moulin.
  • Supposed to be the actual site of the mill that was owned by Rembrandt's father.
