Categories: Zoos & Aquariums, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web
See more than 100 different species of animals and take a stroll through the recreated natural habitats from various parts of the world at Gaiazoo. The zoo's habitats include Europe, tundra, Amazonia, Congo, and Namibia, all housing specific species that are allowed to wander freely just as they would in the wild. The landscaping provides a safe, unobstructed view of the animals from close up. Take time to watch everything from birds of prey, predators, and large herbivores to small and cuddly animals that you can interact with in the petting zoo. Kids can have fun at the zoo's Dino Dome, a large, prehistoric-themed, indoor play area. Because most of the habitats are outdoors, note that some animals may retreat to their shelters and not be visible on rainy days. • with an annual pass and a 30 min drive, this is a really nice Zoo. the kids love it especially the playgrounds and the inside area. with the Dinos. itself has for us this place a greater meaning because we here in the park are married, all cooperation and Nice staff.

  • A not too large cosy Zoo. Downside is that it isn't really wheelchair accessible. Fortunately we had a third person with us that open the doors could do was different that quite tricky. In the restaurant going to the toilet can't then you must first go out and through a small road to get there then. Some transitions layers the boards in the direction of travel with quite a bit of space between here and there or what holes. If there is good wheelchair users has been cq supervisor to look forward to not fixed.

  • A great zoo where you can really see they put animal well-being in the first place. All the animals have large living areas, this does mean that you won't always see them when you visit the zoo but the prices are low enough to come back another time.
  • A nice selection of animals in roomy well maintained enclosures. This all connected via parklike pathways. Also a great bird show and some educational hints throughout the park.
  • Nice zoo with many different animals. An experience for young and old!
  • Very pretty and modern zoo. Animals are arranged by continent in spacious enclosures with a natural feel. Small kids will also enjoy the petting zoo.
  • Loved how the setting is more like a landscape than a row of cages
