  • Surprised about what this Museum had to offer us, especially historically and Hanseatic town, but also Catholic part where iconoclasm is summarized in oldest part of the museum, 14th century. Beautiful paintings including Carter with a link to (the late) Henk Villeda. Unexpectedly got a kind of mini-tour by Mr. Dan Oegema deedee!

  • In the main shopping street you walk at one point against this museum is worth a visit. Also the building is very beautiful.

  • Good and easy set up in 4 different themes. Water, religion, justice and House of Orange. By a multimedia system simply explained. Worth to plm. 2 hours to walk around.

  • If you want a museum with staff that stalks you and makes you feel very uncomfortable this is the place to go. In addition there was so much information to read it took away from the enjoyment of the museum. Nothing was clearly labelled as to where to go in the museum. A lot of the signs with information sat nearly on the floor. The court house section was not available for anyone in a wheelchair or with any sort of walking disability. We thankfully went on a free day as the 6 euros they want for this place is appalling. One of the worst museums I've ever been to.
  • Well worth a visit to the museum
  • Instructive and the children can do a fun treasure hunt

  • Nice museum, especially the history of Camps is interesting.

  • No idea if I've been here, probably as boring as all the other municipal museums with pots and pans. Soon off to a really modern museum.
