  • The castle was open. You could do a nice tour with a high-tech Lantern. This information tells you about the Castle. Also very nice for children.

  • We were here for a workshop "Medieval cooking" organized by the Vrolicke Cockinnen. Castle Hernen had to do this near the entrance of the Castle area made available where we could prepare our camp all day and we were able to use the kitchen and other facilities. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Of course we could also take in between a visit to the Castle. The older among us will recognize the Castle by the tv series Floris.

  • Medieval Castle from 1544. Nice and cool because it never has been damaged by violence. You can walk around freely. Regularly there are events.
