  • One of the few Roman baths in Dutch and bordering countries. Wonderful, but Heerlen don't know what one wants. In the ugly building is also the archive (called Rijckheijt-what a name-) of several municipalities. This is-perhaps-moving soon. Hopefully get the thermal baths than a museum that does honor to the past. But knowing Heerlen, many??????????

  • Great museum built over an excavation site of a Roman bath house. In addition, there are numerous Roman finds on display. The old Heerlen, Coriovallum, plenty can be polite. Fun for children.

  • Nice story about the history of Heerlen in the time of the Romans.

  • Very interesting museum with a beautiful exhibition. Recommended for anyone who is interested in (Roman) history in Netherlands.

  • Boring, mainly through all that word rushed not as rest or fun facts there in between, just standard story, not worth it, in Germany is this sort of thing for free. Building is also not pretty.

  • The new line-up at the back of the actual thermal baths is fine. You would not expect such quality products in Gallo Roman Z Limburg were manufactured or imported. That is a model of presentation of the offer. A big improvement against the setup which I saw a few years ago. Also the info screens on the aisle about the baths themselves are handsome. One flaw: the movie that you can see about Roman Z Limburg. That is very dated (by 2000 I believe) and contains very ugly and clumsy drawings. There may something better in its place. It is true that you can see throughout W Europe similar ruins but I had understood that that of Heerlen unique to Netherlands. Therefore that it is a good idea to build a museum on top.
