  • These gardens are wonderful. Full of wildlife too with hares, deer, lots of different species of birds and we saw a mole too. The Chinese Garden is the highlight here, but everywhere is beautiful. There is also a restaurant in the centre of the gardens and a souvenir shop at the exit. We thought the entrance fee was good value for money. Free parking behind the petrol station opposite the gardens entrance. We visited the gardens then took the bus to Groningen, leaving the camper in the car park.
  • It's an amazing garden which is being ran by volunteers who're doing an amazing job of keeping the deer family (with their new born baby), bee farm, Chinese garden, restaurant, frog garden and gorgeous lake in beautiful shape. I definitely recommend it.
  • Beautiful gardens and park, wonderful apiary full of active bees. Only thing is the greenhouses have been torn down so the tropical and rainforest gardens are no longer there.
  • Amazing!!! They have two different kinds of Gardens. Very nice instructor.
  • We came here often to discover, to wonder. One of the biggest botanical gardens in the Netherlands. Lots of things to explore. It could be a great family activity.
