  • A fun museum, where you quite a number of hours. It is located in a beautiful old building, creating your little steps higher on have to go to the next floor. Not everything is for people who are dependent on a wheelchair. Interesting collections, as well as start a fun animation movie how Groningen there used looked like and how the people lived.

  • This is a nice museum when the maritime history shows in Groningen. Short sea shipping is allowed in the genes and that is nice about it. The museum is logical and walk you through all facets of short sea shipping in the past centuries to this day. Very interesting and for a (ex) seafarer or someone interested in shipping a nice museum and worth a recommendation. At the end of the tour it is also definitely worth a look in the motorenhal. Lovely to see the old engines and where you ploffende sound still can think.
