  • We visited this museum again. If you are in Dutch comics they provide a good overview. Unfortunately, the rooms and signs are starting to show their age and cold use a bit of TLC. Please note: if you ...  more »
  • This afternoon we visited the Comic Strip museum. Grievous setback. Many authentic and original work but really stinks. It lacked a clear route and line in terms of museum experience. Many missed opportunities and certainly for small children dull and little interactive. Let the comic museum so nice links in a remote corner of the city are located for example, the Martini Tower and go on.

  • Also for a non-strip fanatic like me is this museum fun to visit. It is spacious and you can also stroll and meanwhile gain much info about (the emergence of) Dutch (language) comics. No day trip but a few hours well spent.

  • Really good comic book museum if you're into drawing. They have a ton of originals, not just copies of originals, so you can really see how the different artists approached their pages. Also their span on both the number of artists and from what time they where active is great. I really enjoyed it and my husband who normally isn't that interested in art or comics loved it. All in all we spent just over 2h in there and we where planning on staying maybe 30 min. Lets just say we didn't mind not getting to the other things we had planned.
  • Leuke plek voor een kinderfeestje
  • Nice museum of comic lovers, there are also a number of activities for children (age 6-10 will be entertained).

  • The comic book museum offers really a world of recognition, but with the background information you are looking for. About the illustrators and authors more than sufficient background information.
