  • The museum gives a nice overview about before the war, during and after the war. Operation Market Garden is well explained with particular attention to the fighting near groesbeek instead of that it is focused on Arnhem. Rosie the Riveter exhibition was interesting about the women and other minorities that kept the economy running in US UK etc. Shocking to see that there was even talk of racism in these times. Museumbar was nice. Staff are very friendly and motivated throughout the museum.

  • The museum gives very good information with extensive explanations about the military operations in this area (e.g. Market Garden), but also has an eye for what happened in the rest of the world. Thus it gives a compact overview of the wartime, the liberation and reconstruction. Very recognizable for those who lived through it myself. Very tangible for all other visitors. The temporary exhibition about Rosie the Riveter as far as I am concerned as to the permanent collection may be added. Maybe in the new museum of 2019?

  • Let's start with the negative, nothing is in french. Past that, the English-speaking french will discover a museum very well done and especially within the reach of all. The explanations are concise and accurate without being too technical. We have very much appreciated the fact that this museum is very didactic, models, maps, videos, authentic objects, reconstructions... Some criticize the fact whether they are a Museum of the war with the liberation, they did not understand the course in 3 steps: how we lose freedom, how to live without and how we find her in time of war. Finally, on the price, should not hesitate to discuss with the staff, volunteer, to understand that the admission price is one of the only resources of the Museum. A very nice surprise we highly recommend!

  • Really nice museum and memorial. We saw the Rosie the Riveter temporary exhibit, which was very well done and interactive.
  • Lots of pictures on the wall, not much equipment and material from the battlefield. Dissapointed there is not more to see about the battlefield and what transpired there around the museum. One excellent manquette of the area around nijmegen with audio explanation though. I would skip this museum.
  • Had a fantastic time with my son. Very child friendly but lots of information for the adults too.
  • It is a very interesting nice Museum
  • One of the best WW2 museums of the Netherlands.
