  • This is a great little stop, located in a small Frisian city, to learn about a scientifically- and mathematically-minded wool carder who, in his spare time, built an amazingly complex mechanism showing the current position of planets and the moon in the ceiling of his living room. After touring the house of this local star, visit the planetariumcafĂ© to have some delicious ("lekker") apple pie ("appelgebak").
