  • We felt very welcome. As the first guests of that day was even kept open the door for us. Clear location in time. Nicely composed. With the help of a friendly Madam we got itself a work of art from the archive and built so to the temporary exhibition of the day. Van Abbe really something for me! I'll certainly back thanks to free ticket.

  • The original building and collection by the owner of one of the many cigar factories in the Kempen in 1936 donated to the city of Eindhoven in 1936. In 2003, a large expansion of the museum realized. A beautiful building which fits in perfectly with the existing building. The collection originally consisted of a part of the collection of paintings by van Abbe and was later expanded to include many modern art works. Very nice is that there is a fixed time every day on a free tour, wherein the participants determine what the subject of the tour. Very instructive and great fun to experience.

  • Had to play this place a visit because of school. Mixed feelings after visiting. It seems like the art is put on display more on a basis of modernness and quirkiness than actual skill and quality. Recommend you to visit on Tuesday between 15:00 and 17:00 to get free entrance.
  • One of the best contemporary museums in The Netherlands! If you are in Eindhoven, you have to see it.
  • Big museum with big names and a cool atmosphere. Go here if you happen to be in town
