  • Nice museum both old and new part. Balanced collection. With museum year card access. Parking under City Hall in the QPark though pricey! Nice museum café.

  • About once a year I visit this museum which regularly hosts interesting exhibitions. In 2017, there was a very interesting exhibition by the Chinese artist Qiu Zhijie total. Wonderful overview. But also the other temporary and permanent exhibitions are always worth it. Every time a party to come here. The building consists of an old and a new part. That one has well combined. Also a nice coffee shop to have a rest.

  • Quite surprising to find copies such as the Matisse! It is advertised as such but it is curious I found the collection quite disparate... beautiful works but also of the scenography deserves a little banal rigour because it goes in all directions anyway, the place is nice and close to the centre. Don't miss so. €12 admission. Including cloakroom and parking bike in front of the entrance

  • Very interesting museum, lot's of events happening throughout the whole year. The best thing about the museum is, that you can ask the women and men in the red shirts about the art works and they will tell you great stories or explain the setting to you. Probably one of my favourite museums of all time (:
  • Amazing museum. Great collection and exhibitions.
  • Museum had an extensive emphasis on modern works of possible period significance, but lacking interest or aesthetic appeal. The museum curator's selections appear to represent a strong preference towards social activist art, designed to advance the careers of their creators, rather than reflect genuine talent or forms of quality. If you are a resident of Eindhoven, bring your city pass (stadtpas) for a significant discount.
  • This museum is okay. The building itself is very beautiful and light, and they definitely have some amazing art works, but the building is also too big for one visit: really choose what you want to see, and don't try it all in one go. There are many art works that are complicated (and very little interpretation is offered), so museum fatigue is definitely around the corner. Bonus points: free lockers, gender-neutral toilets, fantastic museum shop with great gifts and original books and beaaautiful café with lovely terrace.
  • Great collection, with interesting exhibitions! I went one by Qiu ZhiJie, and it was very intriguing. The cafe is cute and pretty, and the surroundings too.

Where to stay in Eindhoven

Despite its popularity with international soccer crowds and business travelers, Eindhoven rarely runs out of affordable places to stay. The most expensive district remains the city center, where spacious rooms come with access to fine restaurants, shops, and spa and fitness facilities. For a less expensive stay near Eindhoven's major attractions, check out the city's guesthouses, which offer cozy rooms and modern amenities at a fraction of the price charged by the hotel chains. The surrounding villages provide additional choices, including good-value hostels and campgrounds.
