  • If you have something with technique, history, boats or the armed forces may be you this museum. You can visit a submarine and a few old naval vessels, the bridge of an old frigate climbing and there is an extensive exhibition space. To view, you have a whole day. Many hosts with full knowledge of the facts (old navy-men probably). In the nearby area is still more to do, including the rescue Museum. Aboard ' the Scorpion ' is a cosy lunch room, but the map is very limited and there is no real kitchen more, so could not take into account the allergies in our company. The museum shop struck me what against, I had hoped for some more books on the Navy. Very useful, free parking in front of the door.

  • Excellent place to visit with your child. Our "submarine experience" was excellent because it was possible to explore it whole. P.S.: Don't forget to take a change. It is possible to start engines on 2 ships but you have to pay 1 euro per each.
  • Interesting place to visit. Had to wait for our ferry to Texel, so we decided to check it out. The tour of the real submarine is totally fascinating.
  • Definitely would recommend this to everyone. It has multiple buildings with plenty of things to do and see. You can even enter a submarine and the real bridge of the former Hr. Ms. De Ruyter.
  • Very nice museum, kids will like this place!
  • Absolutely amazing, you can spend here half a day easily
