  • Delft is the city of Vermeer and you know .... for this have seen fit to open this center that "contains" all the works of the painter (not original) that actually are scattered all over the world. All are faithful to the original even in size and are placed in chronological order. I mean who likes the painter can see all his works in a few hours.

  • Excellent museum about the life and work of Vermeer. No original but all work is reproduced chronologically in the basement. The audio-guide is a must. Perfect analysis of the works. Analysis of the technique of the painter of his consistent play with light, making its colors upstairs. Not to be missed.

  • Beautiful educational exhibition about the work of Vermeer. The specific circumstances of Vermeer painting techniques are explained. Please note: you see no original work of the master

  • Great little museum about Vermeer, the dutch painter that lived in Delft. Visit takes around 1/2hours. Shop is very nice and has a lot of stuff, also a cafe. Downstairs they have a permanent exposition on the guy, painting, history... Upstairs there is a 'technical' exposition on vermeer techniques. This is what really makes the visit worth it!
  • First of all: this is not a museum with original paintings. These originals are in museums around the world and very expensive. In this center you will see all his paintings as reproductions with information. A very good audio tour tells you more about the paintings. Upstairs is a floor that explains how Vermeer used the magic of light. Very well done! And don't forget to have coffee with apple pie in the small seating area downstairs.
  • Nice museum. The paintings are not original but reproductions. There is an e-guide at the place. You get to learn the techniques and stories behind the paintings.
  • Decent. Take out the audio guides. But don't expect to see paintings. All reprints
  • Beautiful!!
