Step into the life of William the Silent and view paintings from the Dutch Golden Age at Museum Prinsenhof Delft. The 16th-century Dutch Prince of Orange made his home at the complex, originally built as a monastery in the Middle Ages. Today the urban palace houses a municipal museum displaying a collection of Dutch Golden Age paintings. Tour the museum with a guide or headset, and view exhibits on Delftware imitation porcelain, famous Delft residents, and William the Silent. See where his assassination took place; you'll see the bullet holes still visible in the walls. • Really interesting history. Perhaps not a museum for everyone but if you are interested in finding out the history of the House of Orange this is the place. We really enjoyed our visit
  • This museum, renewable, is extraordinary to discover the history of the Netherlands. William of Orange, the father of his country, was murdered by the Spanish Balthazar Gerards, one can find the bullet holes in a wall. A Museum in the convent of sisters of Agatha.

  • One of the best and most iconic museums in the Netherlands. The exhibitions are just amazing, interactive and hands on. The location is great as well. Good as part of a city walk.
  • You can find here a wall with the bullet hole made by the bullet that killed a king of the netherlands. It used to be a monastery at the very beginning
  • If you wanna who, where and When started The Netherlands, you should visit this place to get to know more about Willem van Oranje (Zwijger). If you visit Delft, you should consider visiting this Museum as one of your priorities on your to-visit list!
  • A must see and basic dutch history of how our country was founded
  • This museum is dedicated to "William of Orange" (although there are some other exhibits as well). There is a section of numbered routes to help you with navigation inside the museum. It is quite small, but a must-see nevertheless.
