  • Camping just outside Delft but very close to downtown, walking or cycling faster. Recommended especially to families with children because it has a pool and games, entertainment for children, at least during the time we were there

  • We booked this holiday park because we had a weekend to visit different cities. We wanted a fine chalet to really only spend the night. When we arrived we were positively surprised. Chalet was very nice, spacious and neat. A great base for, among other things, Rotterdam, the Hague, Scheveningen and of course the beautiful Delft. Delft is within cycling distance. The campsite is situated in a quiet area next to a beautiful nature reserve. The people in the park are friendly. In the restaurant it takes a while before you get your food, but that was all. If we take another look at this environment go I will certainly come back to this park.

  • A wonderful piece of nature in Delft. There are many trails to walk, or jog. A beautiful pond that offers boating in the summer, for some brave souls a place to cool off from the few hot days. It is home to athletic clubs and provides many areas to play. Playgrounds and a place to eat make this a great park. I can't forget the animal sanctuary. If you come across any wild animal that is in need of care please get in touch with the people here. If a veterinary isn't needed, then they will accept animals in need to either house them there or find a rehabilitation center somewhere else.
  • Lovely place, a bit pricey in high season but worth it for its proximity to Delft centre. It has everything you could want on a campsite from a restaurant to a shop to a bar to kids entertainment to free wifi. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were clean and very good. We'd definitely stay here again!
  • The showers, tents and toilets were clean and nice. The rest wasn't so nice. We didn't receive such a warm welcome. We were there for about 5 minutes when a man came up to us and told us that they had made a mistake by letting us book the tents, because they don't allow groups (even though the tents are for 5 people, we had 2 tents and were 7 people) and that if we were a bit too loud we would get kicked out immediately. We were there for rest and just a girls getaway. We even booked an extra night even though we weren't going to stay an extra night because they require a minimum of 3 nights. So this already made us feel highly unwelcomed. The website said there would be a heated pool, but when we got there it was drained and closed. When we asked why they said its only for the summer and that they closed it early. There was no mention of this on their site. The pool was also one of the reasons we booked the place. They claimed free wifi but it turned out per tent you get 250MB per night, the rest you have to pay for. It was all very disappointing. That being said, the location is very beautiful and green and made our stay a whole lot better!
  • Great place for a family holiday. Friendly staff, nice site though a little dated, fantastic location in a lovely country. Don't forget your bikes!!
  • I LOVE IT HERE. The forest is so beautiful, lush, and green. You can walk through it on one of the many trails, or cycle, or ride your horse right on through. It is next to a large lake. There's plenty of room to lay in the grass beneath the trees, to explore the wilderness, or to get a good run in. Seriously, so beautiful here.

Where to stay in Delft

The most popular accommodations in Delft cluster in the historical town center, a compact area heavily booked on the weekends and during the summer. Make your arrangements well ahead if you wish to stay there, or explore the guesthouses near the main train station if you prefer to travel without prior reservations. The city's long- and short-term rental houses, which often cost slightly more than centrally located hotel rooms, offer an affordable alternative for families in need of more space and privacy.
