Paint a tile or clog at Delft Pottery De Delftse Pauw, offering free guided tours for visitors interested in learning more about a major local art form. This family-owned studio with a shop remains best known for its traditional hand-painted Delftware (a.k.a Delft pottery, recognized by its blue-and-white designs). The multilingual guides can show you every step of the process, but if you prefer a hands-on approach to learning, join a workshop and try painting a tile on your own. Hand-painted items must be glazed and fired, so you'll be able to pick up your own creation in a week--or have it shipped to your home address. • Visited this place with wife & daughter. The staff was very much courteous. He has explained the procedure in English language .Bought pottery from this place & preserved as a souvenirs. Pottery is very much costly
  • Very informative tour, the place is not close to other activities/events in Delft, but, if you are interested in the genuine created Delftware, then this is the place to go.
  • Friendly staff, short factory tour, and certainly a shop. The factory is basically one floor with crafstmen working and greeting the visitors. Don't expect any piece be less than 35 euro (Apr, 2016). What you in pictures here is pretty much what you will see during the visit. Walk from Market is a good 30 min walk. In a good weather it's a nice stroll. If you are looking to something on bigger scale visit another factory - at the other side of train station.
  • A very nice place to include if you are touring Delft. You are gonna get a free entrance and free. Our guests from L.A. including us were very surprised and happy how excellent they provide the guided tour even if it was just 10mins plus the staff are really friendly.
  • Nice and quiet place. Tour of the factory takes about 15 mins
