  • A very interesting Museum, where you can learn all about the history of the village, its inhabitants lived and what did you do. The town itself is charming, so be sure to click here and visit the Museum to learn his story, the more it's free. Definitely liked it!

  • Museum In wooden house to the garden Canal in the Mature has a nice film of 6 minutes about the history of the village the Rijp.De subjects of the film are reflected in the collection. The Baptists flights for the repression at the end of the middle ages to the marshy islet Graft-De Rijp Beemster and Schermer-between the more-more. By their pacifist conviction unarmed residents wanted to trade. This was possible along the Baltic Sea. There are objects related to the history of the village; with the herring fishing; whaling; the large village-fire in the rope-work centers and about mills. There is a garden on the water and very friendly welcome with a lot of explanation about the beautiful village.
