  • So, the Organization's top, hopefully: the animal's pool for the harbour porpoise as also Robben, not be can released, are very very small and dirty. We know the Sealarium from St. Peter-ording, where the operator of this park should take even an example. There's great basin with fresh water supply directly from the North Sea and they poach also out. It is thus also differently! The Ecomare has approximately around so much space, that would be so animal-friendly. And in revenue that would be possible. Therefore, we are not convinced at all!

  • The baby seals and other animals (crabs, porpoises, fish,...) can be observed very closely and in feeding the children are near the skin. Not very big but interesting exhibitions (also to the emergence of Texel, whale room).

  • Recommended in dry weather, because seen half of animals outdoors. Think I like because the animals will be helped.

  • Nice, fun for kids and adults, you can spend one to two hours here. The restaurant offers only light meals like sandwiches, hot dogs and soup. Seals, birds and sea aquarium are fun to watch.
  • It was fine. it's good to learn more things about nature and the things that we are doing on the world.
  • What is ecomare? It will not tell you in Dutch web site. This is a small marine education center for kids. Most of the sea animals are samples only. It shows you how Waddenzee forms in North Holland (site 1)and shows evolution of sea creatures. Site 2 shows Dutch people bulldozing the coast of Texel. There is an underground aquarium on site 3 but the fishes are a few and general type. A few seals are living on site 4 which is open area. Site 5 is a walk in Duinpark which I did not do because a walk in Texel beach (20km long) and national park will be sufficient. Site 6 is a whale hall with plastic models. The insect hall is very tiny and next to exit to site 4(I almost missed).
  • It's fun to look at all the animals and fish, an amazing experience. There could be a bit more interactive things.
  • Not that much to see but still amazing! Seals a too cute. The bus doesn't stop right next to it but down the road to the right - missed mine.
