  • Learned a lot about the history and Archeology of Noord-Holland
  • A lovely archeological museum that sheds light on the regional history. It is extremely easy to reach by public transport.
  • Unexpected fun and interesting! Too bad it's not an official museum and you don't with museum card in can. But the entrance fee is very reasonable and you can fill an afternoon along with what to see and do! The large circular room containing chronologically the finds on display works fine. The wax figures are truly beautiful and lifelike. An app that lets you extra information would be quite complete.

  • A new archaeological museum, or at least a presentation. Nice modern building with spans of laminated wood. Located right next to the railway station. Of the provincial archaeological depot you will not see much except a huge bump Earth, covered with grass, including it seems to. The presentation is very original, all prepared in a huge circle. Good information, as you can look up any object with a touchscreen.

  • Nice museum but what a pity of that guide, "Madam" Bea ... She is clearly not suitable for groups of school children to go. My son came disappointed returned from a visit with his class. That woman gets it for each other all the enthusiasm and motivation to crush with her behaviour towards the children. If you expect that children as silent statues to a staccato story listening do not understand. Children should inspire you, challenge, involve!
