  • Especially the outdoor area is very much appreciated by children; We have already run several times an hour and a half outside ....

  • So nice to have to take a look at a continent not yet where I've been. Larger than we thought and a nice temporary exhibition on Carnival. No activity outside because of the winter, the traditional houses from different countries in Africa.

  • Nice compact museum with a lot of text at the various showcases making you lose interest after a while. Very large part on slavery, which is less about use. Also we were missing a movie room. Beautiful collection of art! Also would have liked to have seen some more photos. Carnival theme great! Too bad the outdoor portion (mess in the winter)

  • Africa closer that You can imagine! :) Our visit there was excellent. At the reception they accept Euro
  • An interesting museum about contemporary African culture, focussing on a selection of 5 countries (Benin, Ghana, Cameroon, Lesoto, +1). The exhibits are actual size buildings with authentic interiors. Since they are mostly outside, only go when the weather is nice. Great fun with kids!
  • An okay museum. The houses outside pretty much only exist to be looked at, there's no more informational depth inside whatsoever. The special exhibitions are usually pretty interesting.
  • Nice. Not an museum I could spend a whole day in, but still interesting. It would have been more fun if they make it more interactive. Also, there's a lack of information when visiting the African houses.
  • I found not so much. I think it's fine if they say that you are not allowed to eat in, but in a some friendly show.
