  • Thijs is awesome, speaks loud en clear, Dutch only by the way (!). Great tour of this old brewery, interesting chemical facts and nice tasting moments. Pretty souvenir at the end. I loved the cellars....  more »
  • When you're in the area, definitely go. The tours are full but not too full. The ' Guide ' tells of passion fun stories about beer brewing and the history of the brand. Also a tasting is not lacking. Fun activity that takes about an hour.

  • We were here was 45 minutes before the tour began. This time you may well fill with visit to the shop because they have lots of great stuff and types of beer in special packaging. When signing up of the tour we got a suit of hertog jan coasters because we had reserved this online. When the tour began was told about the origin of the brewery. During this tour if you 3 things taste the water of which the beer was made. Then the autumn bock by the time of the year and finally in the beer cellar the grand prestige. Furthermore, we were allowed to visit multiple areas and was told how the beer process worked and what the ingredients are essensiele that the taste of the beer. At the end of the tour we got a beer glass and you could with the coin across the street at the cafe. On the way to the cafe you can see the tube running where the beer is going through. All in all a super fun afternoon.

  • We had a great tour through the brewery by a cool dude Maurice. He involved everyone (also the very little children) in his explaining how beer is actually made. With a lot of jokes and knowledge this is the guy you want for a guide in a brewery. Also they make some pretty good beers like the Hertog Jan Grand Prestige. Which can be a pretty good investment IF you leave it ripining for, say, 15 years. Then you have an almost port-like beer. SO do a tour and DO it with Maurice.
  • If you enjoy beer or are just curious than you should pay a visit to this brewery. The guide was very friendly an had a vast knowledge about brewing beer. The restaurant at the other side of the road is recommended.
  • Nice place for an outing. The brewery offers a tour through the brewery and offers a tasting.
  • The best craft brewery in the Netherlands
  • Leuke rondleiding! Aanrader
