  • Also this small town is a place with houses on the waterfront. We start in the Sowerderstraat to no. 105 where you can park your car for free. Nice to walk down the street. Also those hanging kitchens are a boost to stimulate future innovative endeavours. If you're just for house number 14 the bridge you can walk to your right side on even a moment in such a kitchen look inside.

  • Walk to the bridge at the knee Street for the best views of the hanging kitchens of Appingedam!

  • Wandering through the historical centre of Appingedam, you will pass the famous hanging kitchens that reflect in the water of the damsterdiep. This ancient vaarverbiding between the provincial capital of Groningen and the EMS, this old town at the time, provided her success. When the construction of the zeesluizen at Appingedam, Delfzijl, its function as a northern port city lost, the old warehouses were converted into homes and this gave rise to the characteristic extension to the centuries-old facades. If you visit the province of Groningen and visit to the old Pearl of the region Fivelingo very definitely a "must"
