Landgoed Hoenderdaell Reviews
Niet een gestroomlijnd park, maar verder goed te doen. Niet al te commercieel opgezet. Speciaal roofdieren gedeelte. Goed voor kinderen. kleinschalig more »Not a streamlined park, but otherwise good. Not too commercial. Specially predators area. Good for children. small-scale
This zoo is not a zoo but a shelter for animals. However they present as if they are a zoo. So the experience is outstanding. Feeding the makis and the training simulator for tigers are fantastic to s... more »
Wij komen er al een tijdje en we zijn helemaal verkocht aan dit landgoed. Veel verschillende dieren te zien en veel te beleven vanwege de bijzondere dieren. Voor jong en oud echt een aanrader! Neem je... more »We come there for quite a while and we are completely sold to the estate. Many different animals to see and a lot to do because of the unusual animals. Really a must for young and old! Take your camera with it, because you will be nice shoot some pictures!
Most animals walk around freely, and those who don't are easily watchable from a distance. The lion and tiger exhibit is amazing, they're taken great care of. The staff is friendly, and they love to tell you more about anything you'd like to know. Really a nice place to take your kids to if they aren't too afraid of big animals
A wonderful park with a huge variety of animals. You can feed animals with a guide, and be close to the animals. I was feeding lemurs with my boyfriend, and they would climb up your shoulder, rest on your arms or just hold your hand. It wasn't the last time we went there. A perfect place for young and old
Love how free most animals are, the alpacas are casually crossing the path to get to the other end of their field. The lion exhibit is something else entirely, there is a hunting simulator to help them get back in the wild and you can get super close with the lions outside at their cages. There are wolves, European and Antarctic wolves and bears and the new home for the bigger birds is still being build but I had an awesome day!
Once a year I try to visit. And is only once a year due to the distance. But I'm always glad even after the 2 hours drive it takes. Not only is Hoenderdaell worth the visit, Stichting Leeuw is by itself enough reason. My suggestion, make yourself a member and supporter of this wonderful institution and get a behind the scenes tour. And you will see and understand the love of everyone working here for those big cats. The bird show, wolfs, ring-tailed lemurs, etc. all make it for a nice visit. it also includes a lot of options for kids, which will love this place as well.
Fantastic lion and tiger sanctuary with many other species also for observation. Ethical Ness has been incorporated so that the animals are at all times the ones that come first special barriers make great observation points to see the cats. Food and drinks are also available to buy. Lovely place for locals and tourists. Educational and fun for all ages.
