  • Not the biggest park ever, but still big enough for a nice stroll with a couple big open areas to chill out with your friends. Some resident herons are quite noisy down the back at times but nice to w...  more »
  • The Westerpark is a great area for dogs. Here can the dogs correctly play, no obligation to linen, and meet many kind. There are spacious fenced freewheel and also areas which may not be entered with dogs.

  • I walked in this park fairly often. Pros of weight. Free Wi-Fi in the territory. Many cafes and even fair. Well, about the park itself and say nothing. Beautiful green city park. Thing to take refuge from the heat)

  • Hang out with rabbits and ducks in this big peaceful park or grab a drink in one of the bars. Catch the local Sunday market on every first Sunday of the month with good food and fashion.
  • Maybe the happening people, the hipsters have begun taking over the bars, restaurants and shops but gentrification isn't always a bad thing. Beautiful park, great place to be. Especially in summer.
  • Market every first Sunday of the month. Lots of events happening during Summer period. Also has few nice brunch places, little cinema and a jazz club.

There are a couple of enclosed children's play areas that the winos usually keep clear of. Actually, they generally only bother one another. Still, too many winos...
  • I love this park. It is not popular like Vondelpark but I think it's actually much better because of space, organization and availability of nice places for eating, drinking and spending time with friends. I recommend the Sunday Market, that is arranged there every first Sunday of the month.
