  • We walked here from Dam Square. Nice walk. Park was so peaceful. Everyone was enjoying the sunny day. We felt very safe. Bring water with you, there were no vendors in the park.
  • During our City Break it snowed and it made the park look beautiful! It was great to see so many families out enjoing the snow, building snowman. It was a lovely walk, even though we only did half of ...  more »
  • Despite the snow, good can go hiking. The cycle paths were interspersed. Fairytale atmosphere. In addition, there are ample opportunity to have a drink and rest.

  • Absolute paradise in the Summer. Very well maintained with nice fountains and many modern sculptures dotted around. There are a couple of nice places to eat also and the open air theater in the centre has a lot of interesting things going on for free as well as a bar. There's also a nice little play park for families with a paddling pool.
  • Fantastic place to visit, a must see in Amsterdam. Plenty of room to cycle, walk, run, exercise or picnic. Enjoy one of the many summer time concerts and shows that are there or enjoy a drink at one of the cafes and bars. Have a peek at the lost and found peg area near the info centre at the upper city end of the park. There are always interesting things to be seen!
  • Big and clean park. Great if you wanna see the locals chill or just chill yourself. There are a few small diners but they are expensive as hell, so you better bring your own food.
  • Beautiful park with cafes that service nice refreshments. On a sunny day it is like heaven on earth. A must visit for any Amsterdam visitor and lots of nice shops around the area.
  • So many lovely paths to bike and grassy places to sit. Bring a blanket and park yourself wherever, people-watch, and forget for a while that you're in the middle of a city. During the summer, they have a a free open-air theater that hosts a variety of music and theater events. (Also, generally teeming with Pokemon!)
