  • It is wonderful and worth seeing it! If bike is better still and you can take something to drink or eat, and you spend a few hours in a place of dream! If you come in autumn twice as nice!

  • Awesome Park, Must Visit. This is an enormous famous public municipal park situated middle of the city (120 acres). Great place to relax & enjoy the sights. Many free entertainments. There are plenty of good cafe's and restaurants. Many great events in summer time. If you are tired of the busy streets in Amsterdam this is a great place to relax.
  • A must visit. It was super peaceful and really clean. It is the perfect place for family walks, dog walks and or a safe jog. The thing I like about it is that there isn't any specific bike lane so it's pretty much the only place in Amsterdam where you don't have to run to get out of the way of the aggressive bikers.
  • The park is a thirty minute walk from Dam Square and takes you past the Museum quarter and some very fancy upmarket shops. We visited on a Sunday and it is a good place to people watch and see the Dutch at play. Fitness seems to be the key, cycling, jogging, soccer and fitness classes all taking place in this large open area.
  • Great park, just great. You can sit on a bench and watch the people go by, or roam around for hours, or lie on the grass, take your own picnic to have on the banks of the big pond, enjoy a drink in the Blue Tea House or play ball games on the lawns and so on and so forth - always something to see, always something going on, and guaranteed you'll find someone to talk to in case you're feeling lonely and alone. I have been going to the park for most of my life and each time I go there, which is often, it's like coming home and at the same time it's fresh and new and different again.
  • Really nice and big park. On the summer it is full of people enjoying the sun and the amazing vibe, while having bbqs !! The sights are always nice no matter the season. Well lit at night if you have to go through it by bike at night. One of the landmark in Amsterdam if you ask me ! Just go.
