  • Spent 3 hours in museum and still did not see everything. Very informative giving all sides of the choices that the Dutch faced during their occupation by the Germans. The top notch children's area ga...  more »

  • Extremely interesting and impactful museum. You can spend a whole day here if you want to read, hear, and interact with all of the content. I recommend this museum to visitors who are interested in Anne Frank and WWII as it shares numerous perspectives and personal stories about experiences in WWII. There is a nice interactive kids area, which is also worth a look for adults as well.
  • interesting museum! Their audio guide system was especially good and unique - they can easily accommodate many languages. Their complimentary lockers were also very convenient for those with bags. My only complaint is that the information is too general and vague! I was hoping for more specific stories about Dutch citizens who resisted, but the entire exhibit was terribly broad. There was not a single mention of one of my heroes and an amazing leader of the Dutch resistance movement - Corrie Ten Boom! How is that possible?!
  • Great and very interesting museum with portable sound devices in different languages (bring your own headphones if you like). A lot bigger than expected, I recommend at least two hours.
  • A very informative museum. Well designed to walk through the timeline when Germany invaded the Netherlands. Easily spent 2 hours here during my visit.
  • So interesting to go, maybe the 1st museum you have to visit in Amsterdam. Dinamyc, so much info & a lot of old elements to see. Don't forget to go!!
