  • We were one day because they told us very well this local and fulfilled expectations, is a temple of the chocolate. Obviously a few days later we went back because it is a unique place and a great experience.

  • Urban Cacao has it all. Perfect coffee. Hot chocolate. Macaroons. A small but great selection of gelato (try the yoghurt and honey it is simply a perfect balance of sweet and sour). A huge collection ...  read more »
  • Handmade chocolates in beautiful packaging, creamy ice cream, delicate Macarons and a salesman who has wrapped us with all the goodies very charming around the finger. An absolute recommendation for all who love sweets. The chocolate is one of the best I've ever tasted.

  • Recent trip to Amsterdam we stopped in to purchase some gifts and support a local business. The counter girl was clueless about the products and could only read the label back to us (we know how to read). Needed some sugarless products for a diabetic friend, but she explained their "sugar free" products contained "natural sugar" (whatever the heck that is?). Ended up leaving empty handed.
  • hot choco was tooo thick for me.. macarons were not bad tho
  • Not my taste. The special chocolates from the counter taste only of sugar, no cocao
  • I'm not a chocolate person and I can hardly pass this shop without looking in for some special chocolate! Also the ones I bought here (all specialties from Ethiopia etc) were very very good.
  • Big plus that you can see the chocolate factory and chocolate in the making. Also plus that there are samples available to taste all chocolate bars. Minuses that we had to wait 5+ min for service despite being the only guests. The bonbons were well worth the money (especially the one with orange) but I felt the chocolate bars were a bit overpriced. Would've bought lavender/mint if it had been 33% less pricey.
